Nicole
Nicole has never been someone who stays comfortable for long. A competitive gymnast turned Marine Corps officer, she has spent her life chasing new challenges, new places and new versions of herself.
The Marine Corps took her to Italy, Jordan and Tajikistan before landing her in Doha, Qatar on deployment. It was there, on a rainy night when Nicole was getting a cheeseburger to go, that she found Koshka. A small stray who had no idea she was about to become the world’s most well-traveled rescue.
Koshka has been by Nicole’s side ever since. Italy. Amsterdam. All over the United States. Switzerland is next.
Where’s Koshka? is Nicole’s debut children’s book. She wrote it for every kid who has ever stood at the edge of something new and unknown and felt their stomach drop. The trick, she has learned, is jumping anyway.
